Ready to get your hands dirty?

Get involved

This is what Ride Bristol is all about. Happy people coming together to share a few hours of their time to give back to the trails and the community. If you haven’t tried it yet you can learn more about what’s involved below, sign up for future dig days or litter picks and find out about CSR opportunities.

Dig days

You can see all the available dates below. We usually run at least one day a month in Ashton Court. You can sign up for morning or afternoon sessions. Unless you’re super fit we recommend just a half day session as it can be quite tiring!

Trustee roles

We’re looking for new trustees and dig leaders with skills or interests in community building, legal expertise, social media (running our Facebook and Insta accounts), project management and trail design.

CSR events

We can help you organise CSR days on the trails building berms, clearing litter and fixing the wear and tear. It’s a great team building experience and the results are really tangible for years to come.

Join us at the next dig day!

Numbers are strictly limited so please book a ticket using one of the Eventbrite forms below.

Please note to volunteer you must be aged 18 or over.

Are you looking to give something back to your community?

Are you interested in helping more people access and enjoy the cycling trails around Bristol?

Ride Bristol is an off road cycling charity that aims to develop trail facilities for people in and around Bristol and improve accessibility for everyone.

Over the past 12 months we’ve worked hard to set up as a charity, build relationships with land owners and repair the mountain bike trails around Ashton Court. But we want to do so much more and we need your help to do it.

Can you spare about 12 hours a month of your time?

We meet once a month for an hour and a half, the rest of the time is getting stuff done. What that stuff is, will depend on your interests and skills, but you’ll be helping us make decisions and plans for the future as well as day to day tasks. The task list is endless but it includes fundraising, organising events, community projects or dig days and so much more.

You don’t have to be a keen mountain biker to get involved.

If you’re interested, but unsure please don’t hesitate to contact us for a quick chat.
